Sunday means church day. i usually go to Santa Clara at Our Lady of Peace but i went to the closer church by our area. after Church, I went to GreatMall to window shop and look for something useful for school i.e. portfolio cover or bag. There were some few things that I was tempted to buy but i opted to delay it and buy first the things I needed the most.

Then i went to Eastridge. Their stripe shirts were on sale. i know i said i'll only buy things i needed but i took the opportunity, besides i can wear this shirts at school. There was a double entry on my shirtblog so I have to delete and fill it with a new #16o shirtblog. i think these shirts would look better if worn with a vest on top since its patterned. i originally want the black and white stripes unfortunately there was no size for me.

Had my ManeCut before school then head to Lucky's. I already consumed all my salad so i have to buy another bag. I also bought balsamic vinaigrette to alternate with blue cheese vinaigrette (two of my favorite salad dressings) Marie's is a good brand but it costs a few dollar extra but its worth it


I was craving for Jollibee 2pcs burger steak and I was planning to watch Final Destination but i just thought to use the money ill be spending for food and movie towards my LV fund (which means additional $25 to my LV Fund) So I just went to RedBox and rented THE TALE OF DESPEREAUX, $1 rental for 24 hours, the $19 i save (instead of watchin the movie at the big screen + food) will go to my LV fund ahaha neat!

Spanish, Safety Goggles, Piano, Flash Cards

I was tryin to choose between 4, one unit subjects to add to my fall schedule which are 1) volleyball 2) beginner piano 3) weight training 4 ) conversational spanish level 1.

Volleyball and Weight Training - I used to play VB way back in High School and i kinda miss playin in the court. Weight training is a progressive physical training that will teach you appropriate exercises, resistance training and free weights. Recently, I suddenly wanted to engage myself to sports, it does not only make your body look better but is health for your mind as well.

Beginner Piano - just a personal interest, growing up as a kind, this is already the instrument I've wanted to learn playing.

Spanish - coz its the 2nd most language spoken all around the world. it'll also be useful for work and i think a person who is multilingual is cool.

out of all the four, i picked Spanish coz it fits perfectly well to my fall schedule. i can always enroll other subjects i like to take on succeeding semesters.

i went to the bookstore and bought our class textbook. this text book is kinda annoying coz it is not hardbound, it is not sturdy, it is too flexible, you have to lay in on the table when you want to read it coz if you hold it, it feels like a jelly sliding down your hands
then i bought the safety goggles required for chemistry lab
i roamed around a bit then i saw some materials i liked. it is not required to any subjects i enrolled but it may prolly be useful for me

A) english and spanish flashcard which are pretty cheap. i bought some of these (different versions) at Barnes and Nobles and it costs around $25 but only $13 at school.


B) Piano - i saw this music worksheets and books for piano, i browsed and it seems I can teach myself to play with the easy instructions on it

Books for Fall, Korean Bento, Armani, Louis Vuitton Brazza

Fall semester will start next week and I wasn't really planning to buy stuffs or books this early, however I realized i dont wanna go with the rush with all those students tryin to buy theirs. It's a good thing I went today coz there was ZERO line. i got my books for English Composition, Chemistry and Chemistry Lab book. I didnt buy Anatomy TextBook since I'm on a wait list. I also added a new subject (few hours ago) which is Conversational Spanish which I dont know if we need a TextBook or not. I'll just check tomorrow.

I got my trusty planner and my Quattro Parker Pen, so I guess I'm all set for Fall Class (of course, with all other basic school stuffs)
I went to Oakridge to look for some stuffs I might use for next week, but I havent found nething, SO i just ate my lunch over there. I mostly eat at the korean place when I go to Oakridge. I ordered a bento, it doesnt look licious on this pic, but i guess yeah, coz i didnt finish all of it. I prefer Authentic Korean food. Dont ask me why I still eat here, haha oh well, it will suffice if yer really hangre.
driving back home, i remembered i wanted to buy something at Armani in Valley Fair. There was this shirt I really like. I didnt bought it last Sunday coz my reward system for my check card has not been activated yet (it is now). So i went to Armani in VF and I was glad it was still there. tried one to make sure I have the right size. My size varies from medium to large depends on the brand or my weight hahaha

i dont have anything like this so i bought one, its polo with a hood, unique isnt it? i like the bright green color. i think this clothe is purrfect for summer - fall transition. its on sale, original price was $78, went down to $29 which is not bad for an Armani brandsince there is a Louis Vuitton downstairs, i visited the shop to see the wallets i like. i was choosing between a Brazza or Porte Valeurs. seeing both closely, i decided for Brazza. I almost bought one LV wallet, the smaller size but I dont wanna be impulsive. I'm a wise spender now (talaga lang ha) I'll just save for a Brazza wallet, although i dont know what print i like, either Monogram or Damier. I dont have to think about it now coz i still got a long way to save, i only have 50 cents on my piggy bank and i need $599.50 more to get one harharhar

1) When I saw the preview, I knew that I'm gonna love this movie. I immediately logged in to my Netflix account and put it on my number one queue. I love animation films and this movie did not disappoint. Peter Pan was one of my favorite childhood cartoons/hero, so knowing TinkerBell's origin was interesting. I think this movie would appeal to people of all ages with a little bit of adventure, and fun, this feel good movie would definitely make the kid in you smile as it did to mine that is why I gave it 5/5 purrfect rating.

2) Like - i like the concept of different fairies for different seasons. Tinkerbell was a Tinker fairy who makes things for other fairies to make their work easier.Tinkerbell had a special talent of tinkering lost items to a more useful item like a lady bug sprayer. The like the pace of the story, it is not to slow nor too fast and it gets it points clearly across.

4) Characters/Actors - i love the character of silver mist, i just like her water element. my element is fire but i dont know why i am drawn to water element to movies and games. i guess opposites attract. even in final fantasy, my favorite Aeon and Guardian Force is SHIVA!

5) This movie will teach a person just the way they are and that all talents no matter what it is, is a given gift. Tinker Bell wanted to be a different fairy so she could go out of Pixie Hollow, but in the end, she learned to love her craft and talent given to her.

1) in this scene, the new fairy (tinker bell) is presented with different talents. a talent suited for a fairy will glow when she gets close to it, in this case, Bell's talent is Tinker that is why she is called Tinker Bell.
2) Tinker bell crates chaos with her tinker gadgets, this poor baby squirrel was hit in the head by tinker bells creations when she tried working it out. i just love the cute sad puppy face thing haha
3) this is the part where tinker bell asks the other fairies to teach her their talents so she could go with them to the main land. however, no matter how the other fairies try, tinker bell always end up messing their training ground

1) I thought this movie was horror but it was a mixed of drama and comedy. The story revolves around 7 teenagers, 6 are girls and 1 boy who turned out to be gay. It tackles each individuals problems and issues and why they decided to lash their wrist. I like how the story (of the lashing incident) was completed by going through each characters stories and narration of the incident. This also reminds me of high school life that just like the 8 characters of the movie, there was a role you've played during HS years. There is the beauty queen, nerdy nerdy guys, sweetheart of the school, the crush ng bayan and other titles given to each student in class. Overall, the ending put a smile in my face. High school life and high school friends will always be memorable.

4) Actors/Characters - i love the character or Christine Reyes who plays the character of ROMIE. i never thought that she can really act until she was given a soap opera at channel 2. eversince, i liked her doing drama. some people may raise their eyebrow but i love christine. this movie showed her versatility. she plays a trying hard to be actress that will do anything to be on a limelight. she can easily transition from comedy to drama.

because of what the teens did, one of their friends had complications and died. it was Angelica Panganiban who plays the character of Joyce. Her grandmother gave a speech in front of the class and her friends. It was just a tear jerker moment. Valerie Concepcion who plays Tina, gave Joyce this dress and Tina said, she gave it to Joyce because her friends say that it is ugly. The grandmother asked who gave that dress because the person who gave that dress made Joyce very happy. It was one of her happiest moment, she was just a simple girl with simple dreams and accepting a gift from her favorite friend was one of her happiest moment. Of course, Tina felt gulity and cried.

1) I really wanted to watch a movie on a Sunday, just to unwind and relax, dinner after church, then movie after dinner. I was supposed to watch District 9 or Ponyo. It felt like there wasnt really a movie worth it watchin on a big screen. Then i looked at the trailer for G.I. Joe, i was reluctant at first coz i wasnt really a fan, but hey it looks promising.

2) Likes - damn, I'm so glad I watched this movie. I'm not a G.I. Joe fan but after watchin this movie, it made me one. It was action packed and all action scenes where breath taking and heartpounding. I like all the effects and the cinematography was done so well you just brace yourself to your seat.

4) Actors - my favorite character would be SNAKE EYes, i just like his cool outfit plus the the mask. Brendan Fraser's appearance was a surprise. Critic's say that it is only Dennis Quaid who is an A-lister but i think everybody was upar when it comes to acting

5) Ending - definitely would watch part 2, DESTRO and COMMANDER!!! it totally deserves 6/5 rating. why not? if it increases your expectation for the next movie you're gonna watch, converted you to be a fan, makes your heart beats fast and makes you anticipate what the next scene would be, surely 6 ROOARS for the movie.

The film opens in France, in 1641. The Scotsman Klan McCullen has been accused of selling weaponry to both the Scots and French. His company MARS sells four warheads to NATO, and the U.S. Army is tasked with delivering the warheads. My Own Little World

this is a glimpse of my workstation that happens to be my gamestation too. anyone who sees me working knows that i require a lot, spacious and wide space coz i scatter all my stuffs on the floor or on the table hahaha
everythings within reach and of course i love the rolling chair coz i can easily go to one side of the table to the other

i like to have pets as well on my workstation so when i want to rest my eyes, i just watch them play. i put a wall aquarium and a small aquarium on the corner to watch the fish swim or play with my kutchies when i feel tired

and after working, i can play or watch dvd/bluray on the other corner

A) Story is typical where one follows his dream followed by victory. Kids would love the story and would inspire them to follow their dreams when they grow up. Everything is possible when you have the right attitude and discipline to do it.

B) Likes - The fact that it is digital/animated and is smoothly and realistically created, i already love it. (I am a fan of animation and digital films). I like the colors used in the film as well as the fantasy world of ROBO city. I wonder if the future will be like that.

C) Dislikes - none

D) Actors - my Purrvorite character is WONDERBOT specially when he displayed his Karate like skills when he fought the evil momma.

In the beginning of the movie, Herb Copperbottom races through the streets because he is elated that he is going to be a father. Purrview:

I watched this movie prolly 5 times now and the effect of the movie does not abate. It is surprising that after watching the movie several times, my tears still fall and i still laugh on the comedy moments of the movie. What I like the most about this movie is when it transitions from heavy drama to comedy. Your tear is about to fall then suddenly you'll laugh. I also like the fact that they interviewed actual people who really are OFW from Milan and their experiences at that part of the world. This movie was filmed in 2004 but I can still watch this with my grandkids through the years.

Claudine Barreto who plays Jenny and Piolo Pascual who plays Lino made showed their acting prowess. 5 Roars to them! They look good on the movie and they compliment each other. I believe the tandem is very effective. Another actor I really really like was Attorney (minor character) and i would say that he or she is in the caliber of these top actors.

This movie does not tell only Jenny and Lino's story but many Filipinos out of country.

1) Jenny and Attorney started to quarrel and yell and shout at each other. From heavy drama, it suddenly shifts to comedy. When attorney was doing his litany of all things she did for Jenny, Jenny suddenly something like here we go again then she started to go up to the stairs when Atty yelled "JEEENNNNNYYY!!!!!" then Jenny replied "AANooo!!" Atty: "Pabili ng phonecard!!!" Jenny: "Ilan?!!!!!!!" hahaha

2) when Jenny was trying to pretend she was asleep and she mimics snoring. then she looks at the other bed to see Lino crying while looking at his wife's picture

3) Jenny was tryin to pull a joke on Lino and asked him to do the bull dance faster and faster and faster. Jenny secretly laughs and when Lino stopped and looked at her, Lino was crying while his hands is on his chest by the heart. Heartbreaking. Still makes me teary-eyed when I remember this scene.

4) When Lino went away and then Jenny initiated to have a party just to forget Lino. Suddenly Atty. played a sad song and Jenny yelled to stop it. But attorney was adamant not to stop it and just advice Jenny to cry it out.

MovieBlog#9: Darna: Ang Pagbabalik

Genre: Fantasy, Action and Adventure

Movie Review:
Darna is our Filipino version of wonderwoman. Growing up as a kid, I've always love to watch fantasy films such as Captain Barbell, Dyesebel, Pedro Penduko, Magic Kingdom, etc. Maybe because as a kid you easily believe into this fantasy world that it is possible to have super heroes. Compared to Vilma Santos Darna, this Darna movie has a different plot. almost 1/4 of the movie is about "DING" (Darna's sidekick played by Lester Llansangan) saving Narda (played by Anjanette Abayari).

Although the film was very old (1994), the characters acting the role are still very effective meaning they affect how i feel about each scene. Kudos to Chery Gil! If you watch the movie made in 1994, the props and effects used is obviously fake, but Chery's acting made it believable. She still scared me, specially when she looks straight at the camera and her eyes pierces through me. Hahaha. I think Anjanette Abayari did well but not as great as the villain Chery Gil.

Purrvorite Scene: None but there was one scene where they showed National Bookstore at Cubao, I remembered how I always go to that place. Eventhough, am not gonna buy anything, id just passed by and go atop then go back down.

Movie review:
The plot of the movie is something original for me coz i have not watched any movies like this before. There are a lot of cute scenes but then it still touches the realities of life such as poverty, family, politics and falling in love. I am not surprised that it garnered a lot of awards outside of the country because both the cinematography and story ROARS.

Nathan Lopez who played Maximo Oliveros was believable in his character. However, i think JR Valentin needs more acting practice to match the caliber of his co-actors Ping Medina, Soliman Cruz and Neil Ryan Sese . Although it is unusual, it is endearing to watch a family of macho guys who loves Maxi despite his homosexuality.

The ending was sad. But it teaches one to go on and persevere despite the hardships in life. Don't stop aspiring for the best.

A) It is Maxi's nature to be helpful so he drag this poor dirty kid from the street and gave him a bath. Kinda funny.
B) Young Gay Kids doing a mini pageant by themselves. All the kids were good actor. There was one kid, during the talent competition, he gave a drama spiel. He was really good because he was doing drama and comedy at the same time. "Nay! Nay! Naaaayyy!!" (saw his mom on the floor and he dropped into his knees) "Naay! gumising kayo.
